Opening on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at KIRK Gallery in Denmark is artist duo HERAKUT’s solo exhibition, “Mixed Feelings.”
In a narrative imagery, the work of Herakut takes shape in a very unique expression where Hera’s sensuous but rough strokes define the shape and proportion of the artworks, while Akut adds the photorealistic details. The further process is determined jointly by the two artists.
With the show being a mix of collaboration and solo pieces, you’ll also be able to find these extravagant features performed separately.
While Hera is classically trained working with a mix of medias, Akut is autodidact and works only with spray.
Bridging the gap between the two methods, the duo has accomplished a completely distinctive expression known worldwide.
