Mid-century style has taken on a new dimension in the design of this home in Australia. The designer chose an interesting color scheme based on a combination of green, brown and terracotta – the inspiration for such a palette was the plants and shrubs surrounding the house. Another striking feature is the curved shapes in furniture and decor, a tribute to modernist design. The interiors are also interesting because of the combination of many textures and materials: wood, glossy tiles, terrazzo, rattan, wool. All these elements add up to a beautiful image of such an unusual and refined home.
