Very cool piece, would look great in a faux bronze patina or similar dark color. The type of sculpted eye “limits” you to a representational style (as opposed to hyper-realistic) but I put that in quotes because it’s certainly not a bad thing. It’s a bit stylized as a result of having finely crafted elements of anatomy that are not human, but an extremely archetypically human face. This makes him seem like an exploration more than a fully defined species of sentient humanoid.
If you’d like to create a more humanity-parallel humanoid-type character, done as a finished representational work, I would consider relaxing his expression a bit in the brow. Subjects are more often portrayed in representational busts without extreme emotion. I would also add some accessories that don’t steal the show but contribute to character. For example, the equivalent of a Greco-Roman toga, or a uniform, scar, anything. Is he a healthy specimen, etc.
