Structure is there, Just keep building on this. Get in there with some confident brush strokes to lay in some highlights and contrast in the focal area of the painting. Don’t worry about noodling around too much in the other areas, let those stay soft.
As for color, that’s really a personal preference kind of thing. I think the warm colors you’re working will make for a nice finished piece, but you can also get more vibrant and saturated if that’s your preference. But again, I’d save the highest saturation/chroma for the focal area of the painting.
