Hi, I’m a painter also…If your goal is like a painterly but somewhat realistic I suggest the following:
• aerial perspective -Object tends to fade has they are farther away… usually has like light violet-blue appearance…
• color value – needed on couple, trees… value is the basis of a painting even if the colors aren’t super accurate it will be ok because of value and also don’t forget color temperature 🤒
• when drawing or painting a house or walls … (everything is so subjective but i learned) vertical lines they are usually straight or perpendicular(to the canvas..etc) but idk 🤷♀️ depends what your goal is …horizontal lines change angles..
To create darker value I suggest mixing some ultramarine blue ( I think it would look nice the that cad light red or orange looking color you have there..
So far your painting looks 👍 Composition is good And the size of the humans looks good compared to the house and trees
Hope these few tips helped🙂
